Provide career assessment activities including measurement of aptitudes, interests, work behaviors and feasible job objectives consistent with an individual’s ability and interests. Develop, implement and maintain vocational assessment and training services consistent with CARF and agency standards. Act as back up resource for other individuals in the Rehabilitation Department, blended staff at Michigan Rehabilitation Services or Michigan Commission for the Blind. Maintain case records and participate in the organization of rehabilitation files and data records. |
| Qualifications |
Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Teaching or Vocational Rehabilitation preferred. Bachelor’s degree and successful work experience in vocational rehabilitation, counseling, assessment or case management with people who have vocationally disabling conditions required. Proficient computer and professional communications skills. Ability to establish positive rapport with diverse populations, deal objectively and effectively with individual needs. Ability to work with clients individually and in groups. Above average organizational, clerical, and communication skills a must. |
