Philosophy of Goodwill Industries of Southwestern Michigan

Goodwill Industries believes that work plays a critical role in the ability of individuals to achieve desirable life outcomes and that, through work, individuals are enabled to assume the role of the worker and other roles within the community.

Individuals Participating In Rehabilitation Programs And Services Are Expected To:

  • Have an active part in planning their program
  • Identify personal vocational objectives
  • Take responsibility for personal behavior and actions
  • Relate, as much as possible, individual skills to potential work opportunities
  • Expand their awareness of supportive resources, skills, and activities
  • Implement identified plans to enhance their careers

Role Model

The Organization Will Assure That Persons Served Will:
