Grand Opening of the New West Main Goodwill Store
Saturday, March 13th- 9:00AM 

Come and celebrate the official Grand Opening of Goodwill Industries of Southwestern Michigan’s West Main Retail Outlet on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 9:00 AM.  This new retail site is located in the old Cheeseburger in Paradise building at 5609 West Main.  A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 9 AM followed by fun for the entire family.  A $100 bill will be hidden somewhere in the newly remodeled store.  Find it and you will be able to purchase quite a bit with Goodwill’s everyday low prices.  Prize drawings will take place throughout the day and catering will be provided by Brewster’s from 11 AM to 1 PM.  Make a furniture donation during the grand opening and receive a coupon from Seat n Sleep towards your next purchase at their store in Portage.  Keep your radio tuned to 103.3 FM for a live remote and receive the latest information as it happens. 

Goodwill Industries of Southwestern Michigan is all about people working.  They provide education, training and employment services to people who live with disabling conditions and other special needs to maximize their employment potential.  Revenue from retail sales provides individual wages, job training and other services that prepare people for employment success.  In the end, these funds are channeled back into the community in the form of taxes paid and the purchase of goods and services.
